Job Title: PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning to ensure optimal database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning to ensure efficient database operations.
• Write complex SQL queries and create views, indexes, and materialized views for better performance.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and system administrators to design efficient database structures.
• Perform data migration, transformation, and integration between different systems.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL and PL/SQL procedures.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper constraints, indexes, and triggers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Prepare technical documentation, including database design, coding standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• years of experience in PL/SQL development with Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing.
• Familiarity with Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, normalization, and database design.
• Experience with ETL processes, batch jobs, and data transformation.
• Understanding of Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer, and Enterprise Manager.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and debug database-related issues.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (optional, based on requirements).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Apex, Oracle Forms & Reports.
• Knowledge of cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
