Job Description

Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices

- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support and assistance

- Maintain and update computer systems and software applications

- Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues

- Document and track all support tickets and resolutions

- Conduct regular system maintenance and updates

- Train users on basic computer skills and software applications

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or related role

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

- Experience with desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
