Job Title: Trade/IT Support Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Trade/IT Support Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for our trading systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and assist with software and hardware installations. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of both the financial markets and IT systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical support for trading systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Assist with software and hardware installations and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Analyze trade data and provide insights to traders and management
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain trading systems
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in trading technology
- Train end users on how to use trading systems effectively
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a trading environment
- Strong knowledge of trading systems and financial markets
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of networking and server technology
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Bloomberg Essentials, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
