Job Title: Audio Visual Conference Room Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audio Visual Conference Room Technician to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for setting up and maintaining audiovisual equipment in conference rooms to ensure smooth and efficient meetings and presentations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment such as projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems in conference rooms.
- Provide technical support during meetings and presentations, including troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Maintain and update audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with IT and facilities teams to coordinate audiovisual needs for conferences and events.
- Train employees on how to use audiovisual equipment effectively and provide support as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to recommend upgrades when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of audiovisual equipment inventory and maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications a plus.
- Proven experience working with audiovisual equipment in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies and systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
