Job title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve desktop issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues

2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop applications and peripherals

3. Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions

4. Train team members on software applications and basic troubleshooting techniques

5. Collaborate with IT team to implement new technology solutions

6. Monitor and maintain desktop security and antivirus software

7. Perform system updates and patches on desktop computers

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

2. Proven experience working in desktop support or IT helpdesk role

3. Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

4. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues

5. Strong communication and customer service skills

6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
