Job Title: SAS Admin
Job Summary:
The SAS Admin is responsible for managing and maintaining the SAS environment, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance. They will work closely with the IT team to implement and support SAS solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to users.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and servers
- Monitor system performance and capacity, and make recommendations for improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the SAS environment
- Manage user access and permissions for SAS applications
- Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain documentation of SAS configurations, procedures, and policies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate SAS with other systems and applications
- Provide technical support and training to SAS users
- Stay updated on new SAS features and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a SAS administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SAS software, servers, and solutions
- Experience with SAS programming and scripting languages
- Familiarity with database management and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in SAS administration is a plus
