Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Server & Active Directory Administrator to manage and support critical hybrid infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure IaaS, Windows Server, VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP, along with excellent troubleshooting and ITSM experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Azure IaaS environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, backup, and high-availability services.
  • Manage Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments, including installation, patching, performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and authentication services across hybrid environments.
  • Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments, including VM provisioning, lifecycle management, upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Support Nutanix AHV/AOS environments, including cluster management, capacity planning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, availability, and security.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for server, virtualization, and directory-related issues.
  • Manage incidents and changes using ITSM tools while following established operational and change-management processes.
  • Develop and use PowerShell scripts to automate administrative and operational tasks.
  • Ensure infrastructure services remain secure, reliable, and highly available.
  • Work independently in a production-critical onsite environment and participate in on-call support as required.
  • Support data center operations and contribute to infrastructure improvements and operational best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS administration.
  • Strong Windows Server administration experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Experience with Nutanix AHV/AOS.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization, VM lifecycle management, cluster administration, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with incident and change management using ITSM tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a production-critical environment.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security and server hardening.
  • Experience working in enterprise data center environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
