As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that healthcare professionals meet all necessary compliance and credentialing requirements. Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably in healthcare, business, or related fields).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to US healthcare staffing regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process credentials, licenses, and certifications for healthcare professionals in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update credentialing records in the database accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals to collect required documentation and provide updates on credentialing status.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific regulations (e.g., JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA).
  • Assist with tracking license expirations, renewals, and other mandatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure candidates are compliant and ready for deployment.
  • Stay updated on industry-specific requirements and changes in credentialing processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

  • Knowledge of US healthcare compliance and credentialing processes.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or credentialing software.
