Position Title: Registered Nurse (Psychiatric)

Job Summary:
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health disorders. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and monitor for side effects
Monitor patient behavior and document clinical observations
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when required
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies
Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Required Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS/ACLS certification (as required)
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of mental health medications
Crisis management
Patient counseling support
EMR documentation
