Job Title: Entry-Level Helpdesk IT Support/Desktop Internet Researcher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Helpdesk IT Support/Desktop Internet Researcher. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and clients, as well as conducting internet research to support various projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktop computers, laptops, and other devices.
3. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
4. Perform system backups and maintenance tasks to ensure data security and integrity.
5. Conduct internet research to gather information for projects, reports, and presentations.
6. Collaborate with team members to address technical challenges and promote knowledge sharing.
7. Stay current on industry trends and technological advancements to enhance job performance.
8. Document all support activities and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
7. Experience with helpdesk support or technical troubleshooting is a plus.
