Job Description

The Contractor will be responsible for the following activities:

  1. User Research and Insights Gathering

    • Conduct in-depth user research to enhance usability and functionality.
    • Gather insights from diverse user groups, including government stakeholders, to inform design decisions.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and refine design and system requirements.
  3. Technical and Web Architecture Modernization

    • Develop scalable, future-proof technical and web architecture for the MMI solution.
  4. Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Building

    • Ensure sustainable knowledge transfer through training sessions, reference guides, and capacity-building initiatives for internal teams.

Key Activities

  1. Usability Study

    • Evaluate the current system’s usability to identify areas for improvement across all user groups.
    • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation, including AI integration.
  2. Concept Creation and Solution Design

    • Develop innovative design concepts to address key challenges.
    • Generate solutions that improve system functionality and user experience.
  3. Co-Creation and Validation

    • Facilitate collaborative design sessions to build internal consensus.
    • Validate concepts and designs through iterative testing and stakeholder feedback.
  4. Redesign Recommendations

    • Create a prioritized feature roadmap based on research findings.
    • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups for key interfaces.
    • Conduct a light UI/UX refresh, including updates to the style guide and visual design.
    • Address accessibility requirements to meet inclusivity standards.
  5. Reporting and Analysis

    • Deliver detailed reports and presentations summarizing insights and recommendations to the Core Team.
    • Perform market and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
    • Conduct usability testing sessions and incorporate feedback to enhance system design.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with technical and documentation teams to ensure user research insights are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Deliverables

  1. User Research Report

    • Findings from interviews, focus groups, and surveys highlighting user needs and improvement opportunities.
  2. Usability Testing Report

    • Comprehensive analysis of usability tests with actionable recommendations for design enhancements.
  3. Prototypes and Wireframes

    • High-fidelity wireframes and prototypes reflecting user research insights and feedback.
