Legal Practice Assistant (Administrative Support)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Practice Assistant (Admin) to provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing legal documentation, scheduling, client correspondence, and assisting with the daily operations of a legal practice.
Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Maintain case files, legal databases, and filing systems (both physical & digital)
Manage attorney calendars, court dates, and deadlines
Coordinate meetings, hearings, depositions, and client appointments
Handle phone calls, emails, and client communications professionally
File legal documents with courts and government agencies
Assist with billing, timesheets, and other office administrative tasks
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Bachelor’s degree preferred; legal admin diploma or paralegal certification a plus
Prior experience in a law firm or legal office (1–3 years preferred)
Strong typing, grammar, and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase)
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and documentation
