Job Title: Audiologist – Hearing Conservation Program (Statewide)


Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed and mission-driven Audiologist to lead and support our Statewide Hearing Conservation Program. This role is ideal for an audiologist passionate about occupational health, prevention, and early intervention. The ideal candidate will conduct hearing assessments, manage hearing protection protocols, and educate individuals and organizations on best practices in noise-induced hearing loss prevention.

This position may involve travel throughout the state to serve clinics, schools, public health offices, or industrial sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiometric testing and screenings in compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, and state guidelines

  • Oversee implementation and monitoring of hearing conservation programs at partner sites

  • Provide counseling and education to individuals regarding hearing protection and hearing loss prevention

  • Fit and evaluate hearing protection devices (custom and standard)

  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare reports for compliance and analysis

  • Collaborate with public health agencies, schools, employers, and other professionals

  • Train and supervise support staff or technicians as needed

  • Stay current on research and policy developments related to hearing conservation and occupational audiology


Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program

  • Valid state licensure to practice as an Audiologist

  • Certification from ASHA (CCC-A) or ABA preferred

  • Knowledge of hearing conservation standards and occupational audiology best practices

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the state

  • Experience with mobile audiometric equipment and data reporting systems preferred
