We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Construction Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that bids are competitive, compliant, and financially viable. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, quantity takeoffs, materials pricing, labor estimation, and project timelines.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to create detailed cost estimates.

• Prepare quantity takeoffs for earthworks, roadworks, utilities, concrete, and structural elements.

• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes, subcontractor pricing, and material costs.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams during bidding and pre-construction phases.

• Prepare and submit tender proposals, bid documents, and cost breakdowns.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives.

• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify conditions and assess scope.

• Track actual project costs vs. estimates and support post-bid evaluations.

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 3–8 years of experience in civil estimation for infrastructure or construction projects.

• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, Excel).

• Strong understanding of construction methods, labor rates, and materials.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

🌐 Work Environment:

• Office-based with occasional site visits

• May include remote estimation tools and digital collaboration

• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
