Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Payroll Manager to lead and manage payroll operations across multiple regions. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, systems, and processes to ensure accurate and timely compensation for employees while maintaining full compliance with legal and internal standards.
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for biweekly, semi-monthly, and/or monthly payroll cycles across multiple jurisdictions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.
Supervise and develop payroll team members, providing training and performance management.
Manage payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and ensure data integrity through audits and reconciliations.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to resolve payroll-related issues and improve cross-functional workflows.
Lead payroll year-end processes, including W-2/1099 preparation and tax filings.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within payroll operations.
Act as the point of contact for internal audits and external compliance reviews.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
7+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of multi-state and international payroll (if applicable).
Experience with payroll platforms like ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hybrid role: Combination of remote work and in-office presence as per company policy.
Must be able to manage team collaboration across locations/time zones.
