Job title: Civil Project Engineer (P.E. Required)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the process. This role requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, construction, and budget management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Develop project specifications, drawings, and reports
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Conduct quality control and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering project management
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
- Project management certification is a plus
