Job Title: MEP Quality Control Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Quality Control Manager to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations, and proven experience in managing quality control processes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for MEP systems throughout all phases of construction projects
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality control issues in a timely manner
- Review and approve project specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide training and guidance to project team members on quality control processes and best practices
- Coordinate with third-party quality control agencies to facilitate inspections and testing as needed
- Report on quality control metrics and performance to senior management and key project stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management for MEP systems in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and regulations related to MEP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools
- Relevant certifications, such as LEED AP, PMP, or CQM, are a plus
