Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Coordinator to join our team. The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing billing reports, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Generate and process invoices for customers in a timely manner
- Follow up on outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and update customer account information
- Prepare billing reports and analyze data to identify trends or discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in billing or accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
