Job Title: Tax Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join our team. The Tax Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize savings
- Prepare and review all tax filings, including income, payroll, and sales taxes
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance and training to staff on tax issues
- Collaborate with CFO and other senior management on financial planning and budgeting
- Conduct tax research and analysis as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred
- 8+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
