Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RN Manager to join our Surgical Trauma ICU team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the unit, providing leadership to the nursing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Surgical Trauma ICU unit
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Mentor and coach staff members to promote professional growth
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care nursing
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- BLS and ACLS certifications
