Job Title: IT Incident Management Specialist

Job Summary:

The IT Incident Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems and minimizing downtime by promptly addressing and resolving incidents. This position requires quick thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Receive, prioritize, and respond to IT incident reports from various sources

- Investigate and diagnose incidents to identify root causes

- Implement temporary and permanent solutions to resolve incidents

- Communicate with stakeholders and provide updates on incident resolution progress

- Document incident details, response actions, and resolutions in incident management tools

- Conduct incident post-mortems to identify opportunities for improving incident response procedures

- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate incidents when necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Proven experience in IT incident management or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively

- Certification in ITIL Incident Management is a plus
