Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within the assigned portfolio. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

2. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and recommend mitigation strategies.

3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine project requirements and specifications.

4. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met and executed properly.

5. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Prepare and deliver accurate project reports, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders.

7. Manage project resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

9. Comply with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the project team.

10. Foster strong relationships with vendors, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

11. Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and milestones.

12. Oversee quality control processes and ensure deliverables meet the required standards.

13. Stay within project budget constraints by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

14. Conduct performance reviews of project team members and provide constructive feedback for development.

15. Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure projects comply with all relevant guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering management role.

3. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques.

4. Proficient in project management tools and software.

5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

10. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

11. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work well under pressure.

12. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

13. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

14. Willingness to travel as required.

15. Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure preferred.
