Job Title: Junior MRP Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior MRP Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and inventory management, to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the MRP team in executing material planning strategies
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure alignment with production requirements and customer demands
- Collaborate with purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Review and maintain accurate MRP data, including lead times, bill of materials, and inventory levels
- Generate reports and provide insights on material availability and any potential risks or opportunities
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of MRP processes and procedures
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and communicate with various stakeholders regarding material status and availability
- Support production team by addressing any material-related issues or concerns
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any potential supply chain disruptions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, or related field
- Prior experience in a supply chain or MRP role is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities and requirements
