Job Title: Tosca Test Automation Architect
Job Summary:
As a Tosca Test Automation Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test solutions using the Tosca Test Automation Suite. You will work closely with the development and testing teams to drive the adoption and implementation of best practices for overall test automation strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Designing and implementing end-to-end automated testing solutions using Tosca Test Automation Suite.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
3. Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
4. Analyzing test results and providing accurate reports to stakeholders.
5. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to test automation frameworks.
6. Mentoring and coaching team members on test automation best practices and ensuring knowledge sharing.
7. Collaborating with project managers to estimate and plan test automation activities.
8. Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to improve the overall quality of automation scripts.
9. Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
10. Developing and maintaining effective documentation for implemented test automation frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Tosca Test Automation Architect or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Tosca Test Automation Suite, including Tosca Commander and Tosca Executor.
4. In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and tools.
5. Proficient in programming languages like Java or C#.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps processes.
8. Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser debugging tools.
9. Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs and web services.
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
11. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
12. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
13. Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve test automation processes.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
15. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems will be a plus.
