Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI tools and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, analyze data sources, and create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.
- Gather data requirements and work closely with stakeholders to understand their information needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Identify and analyze data sources to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
- Design and implement data models and transformations using Power BI Desktop and Power Query.
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and data scientists to identify and resolve data issues and improve data quality.
- Monitor and optimize Power BI performance and queries for enhanced user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, industry trends, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users on Power BI usage and self-service analytics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Desktop.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience in creating complex data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that deliver actionable insights.
- Proficient in SQL and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
