Job Title: RF Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced RF Engineer to join our team. As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing RF systems and solutions to meet our clients' needs. Your expertise in RF engineering principles and practices will be crucial in optimizing wireless communication systems, ensuring efficient and reliable performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Design and develop RF systems and components, including antennas, amplifiers, filters, and transceivers.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze RF requirements for new projects.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate RF systems into larger communication networks.
4. Perform RF testing, measurement, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues.
5. Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of RF systems with hardware and software components.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in RF technologies and industry standards.
8. Perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis and mitigation.
9. Conduct RF simulations and modeling to optimize system performance.
10. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during product development and deployment.
11. Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and operating manuals.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience working as an RF Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of RF principles, microwave theory, and antenna design.
4. Proficiency in using RF simulation and modeling tools such as Keysight ADS or CST Microwave Studio.
5. Familiarity with industry standards such as FCC, ETSI, and ITU.
6. Solid knowledge of RF measurement instruments and techniques.
7. Experience with RF testing and debugging tools like spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
10. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
