Job Title: Automation Architect (Strong profiles)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing automation frameworks. As an Automation Architect, you will play a critical role in driving the automation strategy and roadmap for our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop efficient solutions, and ensure seamless integration of automation technologies. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of automation tools, frameworks, and technologies, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement automation frameworks, strategies, and standards for various software development projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and establish best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of software testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations to identify suitable automation tools and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers, guiding them in developing robust and scalable automated test suites.
- Collaborate with development teams to incorporate automation into the software development lifecycle, ensuring continuous integration and delivery.
- Identify and address technical challenges, risks, and bottlenecks in automation implementation, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing and software development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing and software development, with a focus on designing and implementing automation frameworks.
- Strong expertise in automation tools and technologies such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git, JUnit, TestNG, and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby).
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and agile development practices.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of automation engineers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
