Job Title: Electronics Component Purchasing Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Electronics Component Purchasing Support. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement and sourcing of electronic components, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your expertise in electronics and strong communication skills will be crucial in liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist in the procurement of electronic components, maintaining accurate records of orders, deliveries, and payments.

2. Identify reliable suppliers for electronic components, conducting research and evaluations.

3. Collaborate with internal teams to determine component requirements and specifications.

4. Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery deadlines.

5. Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, aiming for cost-effective solutions.

6. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues related to component availability or quality.

8. Streamline purchasing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.

9. Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient usage of components.

10. Monitor and analyze market trends, tariffs, and sanctions to mitigate potential supply chain risks.

11. Support the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives.

12. Provide regular reports and updates to management team on procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives.

13. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to electronic components.

14. Attend conferences, trade shows, and seminars to expand knowledge and networks within the industry.

15. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping and receiving processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing in the electronics industry is highly preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of electronic components, including familiarity with various types, functionalities, and specifications.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Proficiency in using procurement software and inventory management systems.

6. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

7. Solid understanding of supply chain processes and principles.

8. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

11. Strong time management and prioritization skills.

12. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

13. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

14. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and certifications for electronic components (e.g., RoHS, REACH) is a plus.

15. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
