Job Description

Job title: Tier II Technical Support / System Admin with Active Directory

Job summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Tier II Technical Support / System Admin with Active Directory. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, as well as troubleshooting, maintenance and administration of IT systems. You will also be responsible for managing Active Directory, user accounts and group policies. The ideal candidate should be a team player, proactive problem-solver, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Provide Tier II technical support for end-users and resolve IT related issues

• Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade IT systems

• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and availability of systems

• Manage Active Directory user accounts, group policies, and other related tasks

• Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical issues

• Participate in testing, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies

• Develop and maintain documentation on IT systems and procedures

• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration with Active Directory

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and group policy administration

• Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, and VMware

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
