Job Title: Cloud Architect (Consulting Background)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cloud Architect with a consulting background to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, as well as the ability to consult with clients on ways to optimize their existing infrastructure. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Consult with clients to assess their existing infrastructure and determine opportunities for optimization and expansion
- Design and implement cloud solutions that meet client requirements and best practices
- Work with clients to develop project plans and timelines, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations to clients on how to take advantage of these technologies
- Collaborate with other IT professionals, such as developers and network administrators, to ensure all systems work seamlessly together
- Create and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture and solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and consulting
- Expert knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and virtualization technologies like VMWare
- Experience in working with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM preferred
- Strong skills in designing and implementing cloud solutions
- Ability to consult with clients and make recommendations for best practices and optimization
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in Agile methodology preferred
