Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing production processes, improving manufacturing efficiency and production quality, and ensuring that products are produced in accordance with customer specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Design and implement production processes, including product flow, assembly processes, and workstations.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency using Lean Manufacturing principles, such as process mapping, value stream mapping, and Kaizen.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet customer specifications.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure that production deadlines are met.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and training materials for new and existing processes.
• Implement and maintain equipment and tooling to support manufacturing processes.
• Participate in product development projects by providing input on manufacturability and cost of new products.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and welding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
