Job title: IBM MQ Middleware Support & Administration
Job summary: The IBM MQ Middleware Support & Administration professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IBM MQ middleware infrastructure. They will work closely with development teams to ensure that the middleware systems are aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ middleware infrastructure
- Design, develop, and implement middleware solutions
- Provide technical support to development teams
- Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance
- Develop and maintain documentation
- Monitor and troubleshoot middleware issues
- Work with vendors and other technical teams to resolve complex middleware issues
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IBM MQ middleware support and administration
- Strong understanding of middleware architecture and design
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- IBM MQ certification preferred
