Job Title: Environment Configuration Analyst
Job Summary:
As an Environment Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the environment configurations for applications in various stages of development, testing, and production. You will work with various teams to ensure that software applications are functioning effectively and efficiently throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyze project requirements and design optimal environment configurations
- Deploy and configure software applications in various testing stages
- Collaborate with test teams to ensure that software is thoroughly tested
- Monitor and troubleshoot environment issues related to applications
- Develop and maintain documentation related to environment configurations
- Generate reports on performance, usage, and trends related to applications under analysis
- Ensure that all configurations are compliant with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in environment configuration management
- Strong knowledge of environment configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Unix or Linux
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Good understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
