Job Title: Casting Engineer with Aerospace Domain Experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Casting Engineer with Aerospace domain experience to oversee the casting manufacturing process in the production of aerospace parts and components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the design and production of highly complex parts using various casting techniques. The candidate will be required to collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and management teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes and ensure the highest levels of quality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop efficient casting processes that meet customer requirements.
• Design and develop casting molds, patterns, and various tooling to meet production needs.
• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to technicians and other production team members.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that finished products meet customer specifications.
• Manage the production schedule, including planning and scheduling casting operations to meet delivery schedules.
• Work with suppliers to source raw materials and oversee the purchasing of casting materials.
• Monitor emerging technical trends and incorporate new technologies into the manufacturing process.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Casting Engineering with strong experience in Aerospace domain.
• Strong working knowledge of casting processes and techniques, including investment casting, sand casting, and permanent mold casting.
• Experience in designing and developing casting molds, patterns, and associated tooling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks or Pro Engineer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
