Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in C++ and Aerospace industry for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging software for embedded systems that are critical to the success of aerospace products. The job requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Designing, developing, testing, and debugging embedded software that meet requirements
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure software development meets project specifications
• Developing software for safety-critical applications in aerospace industry
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation
• Troubleshooting and resolving software issues
• Ensuring software performance and reliability
• Identifying potential software risks and providing recommendations for risk mitigation
• Participating in software design reviews and code reviews
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development using C++ programming language
• Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with software development tools
• Experience with software development processes and methodologies
• Familiarity with DO-178B/C or higher safety-critical standards
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems and scheduling algorithms
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
