Job Title: Business System Analyst - Healthcare Payer/Insurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business System Analyst to join our team with experience in the Healthcare Payer/Insurance domain. The individual will work closely with the development teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, create specifications, and support the implementation of business systems solutions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Gather, document and analyze business processes, workflows, and data requirements.
- Create detailed functional specifications and user stories to support system development.
- Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop test cases and perform system testing to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
- Conduct user training and support during the system implementation and post go-live processes.
- Work with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions that drive business success.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis within the Healthcare Payer/Insurance domain
- Knowledge of healthcare payer/insurance business operations, health care legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and developing functional specifications
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
