Job Title: ABB OMS Support Engineer
Job Summary:
The ABB OMS Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers using ABB's Operation Management System (OMS). The OMS Support Engineer will work closely with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance on system functionality, and provide training to users. The engineer will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement within the OMS and working with the development team to implement changes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide technical support for ABB's OMS to customers
• Troubleshoot issues related to OMS functionality, configuration, and data
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including development, project management, sales, and marketing
• Participate in customer training sessions related to OMS usage and best practices
• Assist with testing and validating system enhancements and new software releases
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customer support activities
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Industrial engineering
• 2-4 years of experience in technical support or software engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with OMS or other similar systems preferred
• Experience with databases such as SQL and Oracle
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
