Job Description
Install and configure interface engines like Corepoint or NextGen.
Maintain process design artifacts like data flow diagrams, end user process maps and technical design documents.
Develop, test, and deploy interoperability and integration solutions based on business requirements using common and accepted industry applications and tools.
Analyze, assess, build, and maintain interfaces for all data exchange methodologies including: HL7, X12, FHIR, SQL, REST API and more.
Design and develop various data integration solutions to and from external EMR systems.
Lead the development and enhancement of CMS Interoperability Rules implementation including: Patient Access, Provider Access and Payer-to-Payer.
Evaluate existing application integration solutions and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
Elicit and help configure integration tools or platforms necessary to achieve interoperability.
Participate in integration testing of internal and external applications.
Orchestrate and maintain data pipelines that meet security standards and ensure the integrity and quality of data.
Conduct code reviews.
Direct and mentor level I and II engineers.
